Shield Cat is being created by Roxanne. She would dabble in game development as a teenager, messing around in RPG Maker 2000 and GameMaker 4, before eventually getting into web design. When that didn't work out, she instead learned more about art and illustration, programming, video creation, and more. Eventually, in 2018 she would begin work on Shield Cat, resuming her game development journey from years past with a brand new project.
